Driver’s License Reinstatement

As anyone whose driver's license has been suspended or revoked can attest, the State of Illinois can make it extremely difficult to obtain reinstatement of one's driving privileges. It can be equally difficult to obtain a permit to drive to work, school or for medical treatment.

Our attorneys have assisted individuals who have lost their driving privileges due to DUI convictions, unpaid judgments and for many other reasons.

We have decades of experience in representing drivers who have been revoked or suspended in informal and formal hearings before the Illinois Secretary of State, and can help you present the best case to get your license back.

Contact us to schedule a free consultation to discuss your driving history and the best, most efficient way to fight for the return of your privileges.

Employment

Our attorneys have a long history of representing employees in claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliatory discharge and wrongful termination.

We represent employees before state and federal administrative agencies, including the Social Security Administration, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Illinois Department of Human Rights, pension boards and the Department of Labor.

We have extensive trial experience in both state and federal courts, as well as before administrative agencies, handling wage claims, disability claims, unemployment claims, and breach of employment contract claims. Our attorneys also represent individuals facing administrative charges before boards of fire and police commissions and civil service boards.

Employees who believe they may have been the victims of sexual harassment, sex discrimination, age discrimination or race discrimination, or who believe they may have a claim for disability discrimination under the federal Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), should contact our office immediately for a consultation.

Landlord / Tenant

Our Law Firm provides both landlords and tenants with a full range of legal services. At the beginning of the landlord-tenant relationship, we can draft or review leases, both commercial and residential.

Our attorneys have valuable knowledge regarding the applicable law that may not be addressed in a standard form lease from office-supply retailers or on-line web sites, (for example, utility sharing laws).

If you wish to end the landlord-tenant relationship, the law requires that certain steps be taken: we will provide you with advice and the basic knowledge to assist you in evaluating your options, including litigation.

In post-possession matters, our attorneys will provide legal advice regarding the return of the security deposit and related matters, including suits against prior tenants for damages to the rented property that are beyond normal wear and tear.

Social Security Disability

The Law Firm represents individuals who have been denied Social Security disability and Supplemental Security Income disability benefits. Our attorneys have represented hundreds of claimants before the Social Security Administration with favorable results. Most cases are handled on a contingency basis, so no attorney fees are charged unless benefits are recovered for the client, and there is no fee for an initial consultation with an attorney. In addition to claims for Social Security Disability, claims are also accepted for Widow and Widower's Disability Benefits, Adult Disabled Child's Benefits, and Children's Benefits.

We will thoroughly and completely evaluate your case, complete all necessary paperwork and obtain all necessary medical records for your disability application. Cases are handled at the initial stages, as well as before Administrative Law Judges, before the Appeals Council, and before the Federal District Courts. Cases are accepted upon filing of the claim for benefits, although clients are encouraged to contact the office for an initial consultation prior to filing of a claim, or as early as possible during the claim.

Workers' Compensation

If you become injured on the job, you are entitled to benefits for those injuries regardless of fault or negligence. We provide a free consultation to discuss your rights under the Workers' Compensation Act.

During this consultation, the benefits available to you are explained in detail. These include the right to reasonable and necessary medical care, temporary disability payments and compensation for total or partial disability to the body.

Your case is filed immediately and is monitored so that if problems occur or your rights are being violated, we can appear before the Illinois Worker's Compensation Commission as quickly as possible to see that your rights and benefits are preserved.

Our fees are set by statute at 20% of your recovery and no fee is paid until we collect on your case. We work hard to answer all your questions while your case is pending to help you though this difficult period and seek to expedite your return to the work force and maximize your ultimate recovery.
